“Volunteers are love in motion.” -Author Unknown

Volunteers are the HEART of Hospice Support Care. Without them, we could not fulfill our mission. Our volunteers are important to every aspect of our organization. The opportunities for involvement are as numerous as the personalities involved…whatever your particular talent, there is something you can do to help. We have opportunities in all areas from helping with patients, to helping in the office or thrift shop, working with bereaved children or adults, or assisting in our special events and fundraisers. We are always looking for new volunteers to become part of the Hospice Support Care team!

HSC has regularly scheduled volunteer orientation. It takes place the third Tuesday of the month from 9-10am. Once we receive a completed volunteer application, we will schedule your orientation session. This does not obligate you to volunteer, but we are certain that after you hear more about whom we are and what we do, you will want to be a part of this dedicated community service. We will provide all of the training you need as well as continuing education. If you, or someone you know, is interested in giving back to your community and, at the same time, participating in an extremely satisfying form of volunteerism, please contact the office at (540) 361-7071, come by the office at 1701 Fall Hill Ave, Suite 109, Fredericksburg, VA or e-mail our volunteer coordinator.
