The goal of our Special events/Public Relations department is to raise funds to support Hospice Support Care’s mission through Special Events and Community Outreach programs. Fundraising, public relations, and special events are a major focus of Hospice Support Care. HSC is a Rappahannock United Way agency, and is funded by donations from the community in the form of memorials, as well as through grants and fundraisers.
HSC holds two major fundraising events annually. The first is the Magnolia Ball in the early spring. The Magnolia Ball is a dinner and dance with a silent and live auction. This year, it will be held at the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center.
Hospice Support Care also holds an Annual Golf Tournament in the fall.
Volunteers are always needed for both events. For more information, please call the HSC office.
Hospice Support Care also displays exhibits at churches, businesses, schools, and health fairs in the community. If you know of an event in your community, contact HSC regarding a presentation.
